Privacy Policy
CustomFind Filters & Search ("the app") provides faceted filtering and instant search for Shopify stores. This page describes exactly what data the app touches, where it lives, and how it is deleted. The app is built to hold as little as possible: it reads a store's catalog, and it stores no personal data about the store's customers.
Data the app stores about your store

Data about your customers
None is stored. When a shopper uses search or filters, their query is processed to return results and the app keeps no record of who they are. If search analytics is enabled, the app records the query text (shortened and lowercased), the number of results, and which filter fields were used — never the values a shopper picked, and never a name, email, account, or address. Known bots and crawlers are excluded. The app's storefront widget does not track or profile shoppers.
Where data lives
Application data is stored with Cloudflare (Workers KV). The search index runs on a dedicated Typesense server hosted with Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany (EU). Each store's index is separate. Data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone beyond these two infrastructure providers.
Deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes your store's data automatically — the stored record, settings, cached theme markup, and the search index. The app also honors Shopify's privacy webhooks: a customer data request returns nothing (there is nothing held), a customer redaction has nothing to delete, and a shop redaction erases everything listed above.
