Setup — five steps, no code
- Install the app. It begins indexing your catalog on its own — there is no button to press. A small store takes a couple of minutes; the Overview page shows progress.
- Pick a plan. Both plans start with a 7-day free trial, and you can change plans at any time from the link in the app's sidebar.
- Turn on Collection filters. On the app's Setup page, press "Turn on" beside Collection filters. Your theme editor opens with the block already enabled — press Save.
- Check your storefront. Visit any collection page. The filter sidebar appears, and products render with your theme's own product cards.
- Optional: Instant search. Turn on the Instant search and Search results blocks the same way to get result suggestions under your theme's existing search box and filterable search pages.
Until indexing finishes, the app deliberately shows nothing on the storefront and leaves your theme's own collection pages untouched — shoppers never see a half-built filter.
Choosing and customizing filters
On the Filters page, tick the attributes shoppers can filter by — price, stock, vendor, product type, tags, variant options like Size or Colour, and any product metafields you use. Rename each filter in your customers' words, drag to reorder, and choose how each displays (checkboxes, swatches, or a plain list). The Design page controls colors and layout so the widget matches your theme.
Frequently asked questions
Does the app edit my theme code?
Never. Everything is a theme app extension block. Switch a block off and your pages are back exactly as they were.
Do results really use my theme's product cards?
Yes — the app renders results with your theme's own card sections, so swatches, badges, and quick-add keep working and nothing changes shape when a shopper filters.
How is this different from Shopify's built-in filters?
Two things: it stays instant on catalogs far past 5,000 products, and it can filter by variant-level stock — "size 9, in stock" returns only products with a size 9 actually available to ship.
When do new products show up?
Automatically. The app listens for product and collection changes and re-indexes in the background. After changing which filters you offer, run a sync from the Overview page.
What are the plan limits?
Basic includes up to 5 filters. Pro removes the limit and adds custom filter ordering, synonyms, redirects, product curation, and priority support. Both include unlimited products and sessions, with no overage charges — and a 7-day free trial.
What happens if I uninstall?
Your storefront pages return to your theme's defaults immediately, and all the app's stored data — settings, cached theme markup, and the search index — is deleted automatically. See the privacy policy.
Developer access (custom storefront code)
If your collection or search page is hand-built in your theme and queries the search index directly, the app issues a search-only API key for your store. Find it under Setup → Developer access, with the host and your current collection name.
- The key can only read your own store's indexes.
- It is issued while your plan is active, revoked if the plan ends or the app is uninstalled, and reissued with the same value on reinstall — code in your theme never needs to change.
- Treat a
401from the index as "show the theme's own page".
Support
Write to the support email on the app's Shopify App Store listing. Basic plans: answers within two business days. Pro plans: next business day.
